View Full Version : I Need an E38 in Toronto for 2 weeks.

I will comp an M7 appearance package to anyone willing to loan me a car in the Toronto area for approximately 2 weeks I pay for front and rear M7 bumpers front lower lip spoiler, rear valance, paint, and installation. I am basically starting at ground zero again and want it done correctly so I need a car at the fabricators for mock-up. Your generosity will be both appreciated and rewarded. :D

Anyone concerned about Rogers (txdarth) post previously need not worry. I personally called Roger and apologized for the situation and am refunding an additional $100 cash for his inconveinience. This project is important to me and I want to continue to put my money where my mouth is. ;)

Word! :buttrock

and Justin, thanks for the call the other day. I never had a doubt, man.
I wish I could help out with the Totonto thing - too far for me (unless I drive mine to Canada, fly back to Chicago, rent a POS car for 2 weeks, then fly to Toronto and drive back to Chicago, about 550 miles each way :D )

Gene, you are good people man. Thanks again. A real pleasure speaking with you the other day as well. Regarding my offer, I dont care where the car comes from. As long as I have an E38 in Toronto, I as well as the owner of the car will be very happy. :redspot You find a way to arrange it and I will honor my side of the deal.

Looking to grow internationally, so you never know. ;)

The one in the UAE never got delivered since the owner changed his mind. He ended up selling his car and so I issued him a refund.

Thanks for the compliments.

No problem. I will be fun for me. You may want to think of a way to 'badge' the car as well, I wouldn't mind advertising the package... Call me when you can.

Now if I can just figureout how to get more ZING off the line...

This time the world is watching so to speak and instead of mocking up on a pair of bumpers, we have a whole car. I am confident of the end result and will be awaiting a set for my Arctic Silver 740i. This time will also be better as an unbiased independent 3rd party (Bear/Mike) will be involved in the process. This way we can be sure that the end user will always be satisfied. I am jealous to some degree its Mike's car up there and not my own. This being a long time project for me, I am anxious to reach the end of this journey. :buttrock

How much is the bare bumper without fogs bumper strips fog covers but with all clips need to mount it? I am really interested in one of these for my next car. Also is the price cheaper if I pickup I am in Philadelphia so I can drive over.

Justin, a couple of questions:
-the front & rear bumbers, is that piece on the very bottom removable? Just seems a bit too sporty for my taste.
-will the bumpers come with DIY instructions?
-will there EVER be an option to buy the rear valance ONLY?

To answer your questions:

- Yes the pieces are removable The rear has accent pieces and the front has the lip spoiler .
-I am working on a PDF to explain installation. The guy in Toronto still has to provide more info.

I cracked my front bumper in a minor altrecation with an iced-over snowbank, so this is a perfect way to replace the entire assembly. ACS and Hamann only offer add-ons and not replacements (AFAIK).

The front lip has been controversial to say the least. Plans are now being made to address this. I am still open to suggestions at this time. This is how we were thinking of revising the lip. Obviously it would be reworked to fit the M7 bumper. The divet in the center as well as the transition into the sides seems like a more logical approach to make the full appearance package a slam dunk. The feedback here is very important and the kit is made by 7 owners for 7 owners. It is agreed that the snow plow/cow pusher front lip is not ideal. This was done solely by the fabricator under his own creative direction. Due to time constraints, that was the lip that stayed on Mikes car when he left Toronto. In the constant communication with Mike it has been decided to revise his lip to the future style which I will be overseeing personally here in NJ. Stay tuned for the conclusion of this M7 project.

As much as it looks Great I feel that it has lost the Oem feel that original Kits had :( The bumper looks alot deeper or is that just me ?

Im Glad that The front Splitter will be revised as although it would look bad ass on a show car, the look I would wish to acheive with this Kit on my car would be to look as if BMW had build the M-Tech Kit for the 7.

I like to Modify the car so people Know its different and know its better but dont know how :devillook

The crack extends from the driver's side wheel are down, over the front corner, and down through fog light hole (the light fell out). I don't think there is any way to fix it for a reasonable cost with good results. The cost of labor + kit would probably exceed Shadowchaser's bumper.
Good point though and thanks for your input, man.
PS BEAUTIFUL 190!
