I always wash my own cars and condition the leather and so forth...but about once a year I like to take it to a professional and get the works. Can anyone recommend a good detail shop that charges fair rates in the Marietta area?? I'm looking to get pretty much everything...carpet shampoo, engine clean, undercarriage, waxed, buffed.... let me know

Thanks,
Chris

My cousin has that phone; he works for Nokia as a product tester.

Dean...do you live in Marietta up around sandy plains rd?? Reason I ask is because I'm living with my aunt and uncle and for a second I thought those pics you took were in their driveway. Could be the same neighborhood or something...obviously the same house plan or builder

I live in Marietta and those pics were taken at a hood right off of Sewell Mill Rd. No one was living there yet. There was an under contract sign blocking the driveway, and I moved it.

yeah, i know right where that is...bout 10 mins from me. I looked at those houses the other day. We should meet up sometime if we're that close. I'm about to pay a shop to detail my car...interested?? haha

Hell no man. It took me way too long to detail my car. My back was killing me when I was finished. I'd say do it yourself or pay someone. It was kinda fun detailing my car, even though it took almost 9 hrs.

haha, yeah i hear ya...if i had the time and the place to do it I'd def do it myself. I think you get to know the car a lot better when you do it yourself. I'm just so busy right now with work, school, and getting ready to move back up to South Carolina that even my weekends are full. There's a shop at Sandy Plains and Peidmont that gave me a price of $99 for everything but the undercarriage with Meguiars and Lexol and all the good stuff so I'll prob let them do it. Said they've been hurting for business because of the rain and they're giving me a good deal...eh I can believe that.

I got a guy that will do all of it but undercarriage...but its gonna be about $175 for everything...but it will look brand new when he's done with a paint sealant. Feel free to PM me, seems like a high cost but its well worth it...made my brothers 98 M3 look like he just drove it off the showroom floor in all aspects.

Best way to detail your M is to detail it yourself. Nobody will ever give 100% in someone elses car. I sure don't, Where in Marietta, I am off Canton Rd.

Dean, did you do it all by hand or do you have a machine?
