Looking for a good service shop that can apply a clearcoat bra for a 06' 330i.

Thanks!

Hmm, I used Al and everything was/is great. Except for the portion where some azzhole dc driver performed a hit and run mod.

I'm not sure he's actually wanting to start a business doing it, but damn, he did an incredible job on my car. All I had to do to repay him was help replace the ball joints and brakes on his Geo... :confused

No, they are precut..

Especially check out the link to compare to the competition. Thier kits are awesome and have very good coverage and cutouts.

JohnV, how do you like the workmanship of the kit I got you?

not to mess up your bidness, but i don't think stonguard is a wraparound, hence a crap load of lines. :dunno

The only thing they offer for the Coupay are headlight covers...

well, there are "others" and there are custom kits

I am not saying get one or the other...I am just pointing out I was/am really happy with Al's work. Ken's car looked good too from what I could tell. I have also seen "custom" work on James' old car...that was...ummm...interesting

oh, one more point to add to this - it's a car, it's gonna get chips, it could get hit, cheaper to respray at some point anyway. I won't get clearbra again. Nick had a bumper on M3 covered and he needed a new one. Money wasted. I have to get rear quarter repainted. Money wasted. I had to get a new mirror housing. Money wasted. :dunno

Skip Vachon is the guy's name. Tell him that James Nichols said he should set up a group buy for the BF.C crowd.

Hmm, that actually is a valid point come to think of it.

Ken's M3 install was not a kit. He custom wrapped that thing, and it really is perfect.

The stongard kits wrap all the lines so you essentially can't see them. I'm really pleased with it, it's hard to tell that it's even installed. It is a full kit - lower bumper, upper bumper lip, kidney grille surround piece, mirrors, fender edges, hood and fender tips.

And Eric's price on the full kit was cheaper than getting the bumper sprayed, plus it's nice to not have to worry about it. I think it's worth the money :dunno

Wait, did you wrap the M3? Are you trying to ad the clearcoat look? :stickoutt

:lol

I got the bumpers repainted (they are cleared) and then Ken and I (mostly Ken) installed a stongard kit on it. We didn't "wrap" it, but the kit fits VERY tightly. I was impressed. The lines are barely visible and in many areas the kit did wrap around seams. It's especially tight around the kidney grilles. It's very high quality, well cut stuff.

When I say Ken's car is wrapped I mean he bought sheets of raw film, wrapped the car himself and cut the film on the car. It is damn impressive, you basically cannot find a seam on that car except on the hood and fenders.
