did anyone go this year ? IT was plain SICK!!! Ive never seen a car show like this before with sooo many vendors, How come there are no bmw shows like this :( And for you guys who don't know, Waterfest is the biggest VW show in the country, which included a car show, a burnout contest, a dragstrip, autocross, and over 25+ vendors, I even ordered my stage 3 clutch and a flywheel form one of the vendors there, sorry bout the rant, just amped it was soo crazy

I didn't go but my cousin competed in the show class. Silver VW Golf with blue stripes and colored flag within the blue stripes. He usually places 1st but havent talked to him yet to see how he did.

Of course it rains every sunday of waterfest weekend. I guess thats where they get the name from :D

I went down... I got a ticket.... and also they wouldnt let me park in the exhibithion area... Ihad to park with the mini vans and junk cars...

Last time I went I slipped the kid a $5 bill and he let us drive in the exhibition area. Dammed if I was going to walk around in 95 degree weather. I parked right next to my cousin who entered in the show competition, he looked at me like, WTF are you doing here??? :confused

How do you know when i got there?

I was one of the first 50 cars in on SAT morning.. I was there @ 10 am and waited.

There was NO ONE in the grass lots when i first arrived. The parking lots didnt even have people in them when I got there.

I wanted to get my car in the exhibition area... the vendor side/site.... they wouldnt let a BMW in.

Especially since they wave the rusted fox's right through..

I would imagine that that makes the show look bad not my car sitting in that area..

Oh well, in the end I still had 2 more cylnders then 3/4 of them.
