I was at Waterfest today, it was pretty cool. Someone was showing a AA Supercharged M3.

I live in Monroe, near Jamesburg, East Brunswick and ENGLISHTOWN. There was heavy traffic caused by VW's that were cruising through town. All of them had Mass. plates, and seemed to be stopping at motels. Most of the cars had a decal on the passenger side fender shaped like an interstate sign, and it said something like VD or WD. They must have been on some kind of rally.

Anyone know about this? I couldnt figure it out.

Most of the guys were really cool, and gave a wave, smile, or checked out my car. There was one guy who pulled up along side of me on Rt. 18, and said "MERCEDES." Sounded like he didnt like me driving a snobby BMW or MB. He probaly didnt realise I dont even have A/C :lol . Maybe he was just stupid and thought my car was a Benz, but anyway, he did a burn out and pulled ahead. :confused

Probably not rallying, just caravan-ing to water fest. We went late this afternoon (after the autocross at NC) and saw some ok cars. The best I saw was a really nice e55 amg and had an enjoyable conversation w/the 2 guys that accompanied it. I never want to see another jetta or vr6 or r32 or any kind of vdub for that matter EVER AGAIN.

And as a side note- whats up w/black, matte finish wheels? I know black has been in, but is matte finish the latest 'thing'? Yucky

I've been seeing alot of VW's (alot of my friends have them and I've been going to their meets), that have a matte black paint job all over. It does look bad, but then again it definetly is different. Anyone going back to Waterfest tomorrow?
