I am planning on getting a Blitzsafe adapter (with the aux input) and an Alpine CD changer for my '01 530i. I want to use the aux input to wire up my MP3 player. I was planning on running the wire for the MP3 player up to the dash and I was thinking that I could just follow the existing wires for the cd changer back up that way.

Has anybody taken that approach and does anybody have an idea of the path these wire take? And what would the best way to go about that be? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

waste of time to take the same route as the changer wires.

just shoot them through however you can get them.
