This may be a noob question, but my auto 535i is shifting HARD, i mean very hard. Like the rear wheels wanna chirp....even at slow speeds. What the cause of this? low tranny fluid, trans is going out? FYI 209k miles. Please help :help

I thought that too, so I checked the owners manual and there was nothing in there as to where to fill/check. Only the amount it takes.

Have you had it flushed lately? I know BMW says "lifetime fluid" but it sure isn't your lifetime. Royal purple is what most people reccomend, or Redline. Good luck!
