I had my M3 up for sale at a local dealer and some punk ass stole all the side moldings from the car. I guess they are too cheap to buy them so they resort to sealing. If you can't afford to buy parts for a BMW you shouldn't have one. It will probably end up on someones 325 and pimp it like they have an M3 LOSER!! At the end.. it will come out of my pocket :mad
What goes around comes around..the parts looks nice now, but wait until your in shit gets stolen.

be glad your side-mirrors didn't get stolen. Then you'd really be focked.

I'm afraid of some punks stealing things from my car, I mean let's be realistic, the front bumper can be removed in less than 5 minutes with the proper tools, the moldings you just pull them up, mirrors are easy to steal too

Hey RB28m3,

Sorry to hear about that! I was searching on craigslist.org and found this ad that could be your side moldings:

http://www.craigslist.org/pen/car/83735854.html

FS: bmw m3 side moldings - $135 (redwood city)

The seller seems fishy as he has "i have one used set 2dr and one used set 4dr m3 moldings, $135 these sell fast so let me know -carlos"

The picture shows that it's on a Ford Contour too Hmm...

That's VERY fishy. Good find. That would be awesome if those were the ones. Seriously, someone should shoot him an email and ask him where he got them, and why they're shown sitting on that Escort.

you guys are more them welcome to stop by the auot broker i work for in redwood city , and see that we buy all new molding sets from Peter Pan bmw, because the clients we have dont want to buy a nice new car with faded moldings, they are still in good shape but believe me people are picky when they are spending 20,000 on a used bm3, we are loacted on el camino in RWC, i also post on craigslist because it is the best way to sell an item, i ahve parted out many cars and have sold a lot of itmes using both web sites, what are you guys going to say next i steal the whole cars as well,

I hope there is 10 grand in cash in the trunk. You are on drugs if you think an e36 M3 is worth over 25k. Even if it is mint.

When I purchased the set from Carlos, I deeply scored my information on the insides and some "personalization" on the exterior for easy identification. I "vandalize" all my personal items for easy identification in the event of theft.

After someone stole one of my grills and my corner lights, I zip tie everything down. I am still on the lookout for my corner lights at every single meet I go to.

There is little you can do to prevent the theft of the front and rear panel moldings, but you can prevent the theft of your door molding easily. Your door has two LARGE holes in the molding galley that are not used for anything. I jb welded two small U's to the molding which fit through the door holes. Then I zip tie that down from inside the door, next to the window regulator mechanism. Viola, door molding it not removeable without access to the interior of the door.

Damn bay area thieves have forced me to mechanically bolt or zip tie every single removeable item down. Nothing is removable without internal access. But if I catch anybody trying to remove anything from my car, they are going to get a 9mm bullet in their butt.

I might just talk Rich into parking our cars at Mercado and waiting across the parking lot in a tinted van with baseball bats and pepper spray in hand.

Just curious, what years/how many miles are you selling for $25k+ I don't care where you live, wealthy people don't retain their wealth because they waste their money on overpriced stuff when they can get as good of a car for a much better price.

Like Chris Rock once said, Shaq is one rich N*****, the guy who writes his check is wealthy...

I could put an add on craigslist for 50k for my BMW, ads mean nothing. I live in the SF I am all aware of the $ standards around here. I own my own house in SF. You on the other hand probably live with 10 other people in an apartment in East Palo Alto. If these people are so rich why would they even buy an almost 8 year old BMW? I am out, while you are out of your mind.

Haha...are you a post whore posting multiple replies at a time instead of editing your posts? If you're so smart, how come you can't spell (such as bumber) and write in incomplete and run on sentences? I bet those M3 you're selling aren't as clean as those actually worth $25K/above! Why are you so offensive to blownM3? I bet you aren't as well off as you claim to be!
