View Full Version : Vista BMW In Pompano Beach, FL = STAY AWAY!!!
kpeng 07-10-2005, 12:18 PM Stay clear of Vista BMW in Pompano Beach. They have the absolute worst service department I have ever encountered. Completely rude and idiotic service advisors, the manager could care less, and their technicians are complete morons who aren't in it to help people and are lazy. I had a terrible experience where they tried to screw me out of hundreds of dollars and deny me of warranty-covered repairs. After I had it repaired problem free at Braman BMW in Miami, I emailed the service manager and called several times with no response. Vista BMW = :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn:
If you're an enthusiast, steer clear of them. They'll blame every little problem on aftermarket parts and refuse to prove it to you.

I did get a cool Jetta loaner for 3 months while they fixed it and refused to return my calls, though :mad
wow damn... and they took 3 months to fix it? i know the used car manager at vista, i buy a lot of cars from them at the auction but then again i cant comment on their service etc.
760list 07-10-2005, 08:04 PM Braman is fricken awesome. I go to the one in West Plam and deal with Lawrence, who picked me up from the airport on his day off once and took the 745 in himself. It might help that we have close to 300k in bimmers tho...

OMG, BS they didn't do that...did they??? OMG I can't believe that happened, if indeed that is the case. If so, from a fellow MC owner, I feel for you.

They did indeed do that. It's a whole ordeal (I posted the whole story on Roadfly awhile back), but their attitude was pretty much "Oh well, you're screwed." Besides offering us $18k for it, they pretty much blew us off. They even had the gall to make the body shop take back the loaner when it was done so I wouldn't come back to the dealership. :mad

kpeng 07-13-2005, 09:03 PM sad to see that Vista treats their customers like that.
BlueM3Racer 07-14-2005, 06:51 PM I've had a couple good service experiences at Vista with Dino Bellotti. I recommend him as your service advisor if you can make it happen. This week I went to Braman in West Palm b/c they're Dinan Authorized ( I needed an engine software update). They finished my car up the same day and were very efficient with their work. I only had it in for small things, just because i hate going to the dealer in Tallahassee soooooo much. You wanna talk about bad - Capital Eurocars in Tallahassee is bad. If you're out of warranty i'd recommend Redline BMW in Pompano. I had many good experiences with them with my 95 M3.
DOJLEO 07-15-2005, 09:09 AM Call BMW of North America and report them! I had a problem with once with South Motors BMW, I couldn't get the service manger to call me and when he did he was rude and hung up on me. I called BMW NA and I got a call from the ower the next day. All my concerns and issues were corrected immediately and i have not had an issue since.
