I just got off the highway from summer school, making a right turn. I went in the far lane while C32 went into the near lane, stupid truck was slowly moving arcoss the road so the C32 had a head start since his lane was clear while the truck was still crossing mine. He got 3 CL on me before I slowly walk within 2 CL before we had to slow down for a red light. Thumbs up on both sides. I would guess my side mirror was about 2 inches from truck when I hit the gas. C32 has a pretty good kick to it.

It looked like in the 2000's, no mods. The guy had two kids in the back.

I don't know alot about Mercedes but the 2000 C32 AMG has well over 300 hp and runs a low 13.

I've seen a C32 outrun an E46 M3, he had the faster car.

Yeap, C32 are no joke, they will whoop on E36 M3's easily and could pulled and possible walk on E46 M3's.

BTW, C32 only comes in one gear--Automatic :( Just imagine if its were manual)

There very nice cars, my only complaint about them is the suspension puts the car too much at an angle, I think the term is "raked", whereas BMW's look more even.

wth's a 2000 C32 AMG?? the 32 came in mid 2001 as a 2002 model.

I'm pretty sure you guys are talking about the W202 C43 AMG if you are saying it's a 2000 which was very comparable with the e36 M3 and may be slower than the e36 M3 because of its weight.

With proper launch,good driver, and tire air pressure lowered, some have run high 13's in the 1/4 mile.

agreed. c32s are awesome machines.

I raced my buddy who has a 2003 C32 against my 04 M3 SMG. I can take him off the line, not by much unless I hit the launch control, but anything over 50mph I always lose. Those things are fast, especially on the hwy. TO avenge my deaths I had to take out the big bad E55 and demonstrate that there is no challenge.

The scariest thing is seeing the new C55 and hearing that exhaust note coming from the quad exhaust :eek:

i have been walked all over by a c32 amg.

The C55 might sound good, but it's not much faster than the stock C32, In fact it can be slower becuase of wheel spin.
I (Can't use the word on this forum anymore) M's all the time.
The decent drivers can get a jump, but thats it.
With the esp off, a little power break, stomp and steer, never missing a shift and 333 lb/ft I always win.
On a roll at 60 or so, the E46 M3 always loses.
The AMG Speedshift is pretty resonsive and the car (With aftermarket suspension) handles good, not as great as a M3..but good enough..
