The popular story is that the kid was driving his dads car and the dad just happened to be a BMWCCA driving instructor .
Apparently they did not "catch" the kid but they were waiting for him at home when he brought the car back .

kinda funny how they say " supercharged M3 0-60 in 5.6 seconds and the police cruiser stays right with him...." I wish we could see the rest of the video.
