Last night me and my boy met up with each other to go out and he's always said how bad he would rape me so i said wtf lets go then.

1st race- we went from a roll with him 1/2 car in front of me at 20mph, he punches it and then i do from 20- 70 i ended up a half car in front.

2nd race- we did it from a stop sign 0-70, i got the jump half car all the way till 70 and we stoped, i kept the same distance the whole time, i was shifting at 5000 and he said he was too.

so is this race write or do i need some practice. i had two people in my little car and he had 1, i just started my car up and raced, he was driving for a while so i thought my car wasnt warmed up.

Mods- 750 intake
mine- intake, exhaust, shark injector.

I dunno about the 328's, but when i raced my dads 92 750iL in my 325i, from a 50 mph roll, I got my ass handed to me. Form a stop, it may be a different story, but those things can haul once they get moving.

Yeah that doesn't sound right, from a dig i understand since the 7 is an auto but that 750 should stomp you from a roll. Good race though and nice kill

yeah, actually you're engine being cold probably helped you out some. I'm not sure, but I remember with my old car, I used to love the engine being cold, it felt so strong (then I found out it was bad to drive hard on a cold engine).

But the race from a dig, doesn't sound wrong.....but why 5k shifts by you?

But the race from a roll, he should've spanked you. Those big engines are monsters on the highway.

i shift at 5k because i get nervous hurting my car lol, i want the thing to last through college so i dont have to fix anything, and the roll wasnt at high speeds, the v-12 works better at high speeds.

Not really a race if you don't use the full power band, but nevertheless good runs.

They put the rev limiter there so you dont hurt your car! you can go all the way upto it without worrying. I'd say you are putting more stress on your clutch and transmission during launch. If your that worried about it, i would suggest you stop street racing.
