Great pictures.
I already did a comparison a while ago between the Alpina Roadster S and the MB SLK 350.
Check out this thread:

Interesting thread but I think to do a far comparison you should take AMG SLK or BRABUS since the Z4 is ALPINA not the production BMW.
Just my 2 cents.

Alpina Roadster S did the Nürburgring in 8.15 minutes by Horst von Saurma of the Sport Auto magazine. (For example, everybody knows the E46 M3 isn't slow on track and he did the lap in 8.22 with it...)
So it's definately fast for a car claimed only 300hp.

I like those seats - they look more comfortable and supportive than the standard ones.

they are an option on all z4's, not just alpina's & I highly recommend them...well worth every penny compared to the abysmal base seats :)
awsome looking car...wish it was offered in the US (well @ least until the M is offered :))

Unfortunately, the Alpina Z8 was the first and last official offering from them.
BMW and Alpina have no plans to bring either the B7, B5 or RS. :(
The demand would be too great and the mystic of owning one would be gone.
All wonderful cars that would gone over well here.
