WELL. I didn't win, as a matter of fact first random race loss of mine, but not sad at all, it was an awesome experience.
Well, I was getting off Route 32 onto Route 29 towards Washington D.C.. Upon boarding 29 I a SL 600 flew by, and I knew I wouldn't pose that much of a challenge to him, but I figured what the hell. Well after catching up I drove by him, checking out the car. Now mind that its about 11p or so--weathers perfect, few cars on the road...perfect conditions. After driving by him, I look and he wasn't even near me, but getting onto a on-ramp I look back and his HID' are blinding me.....right on my ass. So, we start going through a few cars, and he gets stuck...I'm pulling then the downhill comes. Now, because of some transmission work the car has a higher topend and no govenor (removed by own mechanic) 141 MPH down the hill.....the SL BLASTED by him. ATleast 160 MPH. Amazing, my car shook as he flew by. After both of us slowing back down to 80, I drove up next to him and he smiled and wiped the sweat off his head. Really cool person.
Well just thought I would share, new to this forum but have been looking around for a year or so while on DTMpower & Exotix. Thanks for readin fellow Bimmer heads.
