Hey I'm coming back out to San Deigo and was checking to see if anyone wanted to get together like we did last time. My estimated time frame is July 21st to 27th.

Last trip out we had a 318 meet which turned out pretty good. Hope to see everyone again and meet some new people.

I'll be in the 318 hopfully picking up some new lights. :redspot

Who did you meet with? It might be fun to organize a meet during that time, just to meet some new people if nothing else.

There was a M42/M44 meet up in OC that I was SUPPOSED to be at....but oh well. Anyway, since you'llbe in SD this time I BETTER make it out to whatever we plan. I'll get with DDD once he returns from his mini-vacation in OC to see what can get figured out.

S50 already has the M50 manifold. Aren wants to steal it from me. :shifty

I'm still gonna invite myself if there is a 4 cylinder meet. My VIN number says my car is a 4 cylinder, and I'll bring a printout if I have to! :stickoutt

I say we meet up at the exact same place we met up last time. The parking lot was HUGE, and if we get there early enough there will be plenty of parking. Plus, us LA/Ventura County folks will be more likely to show, given it's not all the way in SD (although very close). ;)

i'd be down for a meet again at the same place, hopefully its not really really early (work), but it'd be cool to see all of ya again.
maybe Chad can bring along an aftercooler that someone like myself can buy off him :D !!

hey im down, but wanna keep it only an M42/43/44 meet or wanna let other folks come and join...either way im cool with it.

I'm cool either way. 318 meet is cool and others can be welcomed.

Sucks when we eat cuz you can't talk to everyone at the table. Need to design a table that rotates chairs to help promot conversation. YardHouse was sweet I need some Raspberry Brown.

Weeeeerd, it has to happen.

I have convinced my GF to get a 318 and DASC it. She needs to get a ride in a car to see what it'll be like.

This IS still happening, but one of the main planners (DDD) has been like busy turning old (his B-day is today). I'll see about kicking his ass to get something planned since nobody seems to listen to me anymore when I plan events. ;)

What if we just meet at the same place we did last time at the same time on July 24th which is Sunday ? Heres the copy&paste from the last thread on the last meet in December that DDD organized.

-------------------------------

Meet location: Irvine Spectrum (east side of lot near freeway.)
Date - Time: Sunday Dec. 26th - 1:00pm
What are we doing: We will meet in the parking lot for show and tell as it were, including pictures and friendly discussion about the 318 and its variants (E30/E36(ti)/Z3..etc).
Get a first hand look at the IAAS intercooler for the DASC.
Head into the Irvine Spectrum for food and drink (Yardhouse has been suggested for their large selection of beer).
After the meet: We will be going on a spirited cruise on the Ortega Highway (I-74). It is HIGHLY reccomended that if you choose to drink at the Yardhouse, that you either DO NOT go on the drive, or bring along a designated driver that you trust driving your car. We want to keep this meet safe and fun.

How to get there! Please be resourceful and use this site below, navigation, or some other mapping webiste to get directions.

Dunno but I leave Weds moring and wont have access to computer anymore so I'll be calling you for details if anything happens. I wanna check out Chads 318 maybe compare his car to mine on the highway see how far he pulls on me.

I am in. I am pretty sure SQ Bimmer is going to make it as well as Boosted318.

The OC stuff is so that the LA boyz don't thave to drive that far. OC is in the middle.

I think an OC drive afterwards would be nice too.

Your point? However you look at it, it is not an M3. It may perform and handle like one , but your car will never be a true M car.

I'd rather have her car than 99% of M3's.

You gonna show up at the meet, troll? I'm sure there are plenty of people on here that would just LOVE to meet you... :rolleyes

Sure it can. Look at the meaning behind the BMW racing and the meaning of the "M". Its much more than just sheet metal stamped in a factory.

Where in my post does it state that my car is an m3 or even an m car? Where in my post does it say that I want my car to be either an m3 or an m car? Nowhere. Pick your battles wisely newb. :rolleyes
