I've heard some shops will do it for free since they get to keep/recycle the R-12 since its pretty expensive. I've had a few people and even that dvd that came with my r-134 retrofit kit tell me that some shops will do it for free. Where are they? :stickoutt

Thanks guys, I guess I'll have to do a yellow pages search. I asked because I was at pepboys service dept. a dew days ago and they told me they charged. He also looked at me funny when I told them i heard some shops will do it for free.
