So I went out for a drive with my frined (95 m3/2) and we are driving for abour 30 min or so and I see this what looks to be a BMW coming at me. So when I got to the light I when in the left lane to pull a U-turn. When he passed me I realized it was an M3. I make the U-turn and book it to get to him. I see him make a right I fallow. Then it is just me and him at the red light, I look over and he looks at me then i launched on green. He had to put it in sport mode. When he passed me (I backed off) I jumped in behind him and fallow. Then we just start having fun. At the next light we pull next to each other and i rev it and so dose he, on green we go. I kept right up with him :eyecrazy . I just can't beleave that my car is just as fast as a 02 M3 SMG. Its not that offten I run across another BMW let alone a M in Yuba City.
I then pulled into a gas station to see if he woud pull in behind me but he didn't. When I pulled out He pulled into subway and i fallowed him, we shot the **** for a few and looked at each others cars. Good times. If any one on here is from Yuba City this was with the Black M3, w/ smoked tail lights.

BMW calls it the M Roadster, but all of the insurance and registration and other paperwork call it "BMW M 2dr covert."

It was nice to see someone in Yuba City with an M. They are rare. We may have to go out on a nice stretch some day and really play. I think I might be able to pull away a bit, :) :) but no doubt you have been the only competition I have had out this way. Nice light weight roadster you have. Great this time of year.

From my experience, going from my 00 M Roady to my 6 speed 02 M3, the M3 is most definitely faster. The roadster may feel a little quicker off the line, but that's about it... up top there's no comparison.

Thanks for the props, the Stealth M3 is coming along. Hope to finish off the exterior with ACS body kit. Then DINAN, HERE I COME.
