Theft is REALLY high at that movie theater for some reason. Two of my friends had their cars broken into at that movie theater parking lot & I've heard about 4-5 cars stolen from there too.

heheheh :lol Thanks for the chuckle... Seriously, it really ticks me off that a fellow Bimmer driver would do such a thing to another. Pretty lame.

I was looking at Unmitza's Group buy.. I bought the same ones for 50 bucks shipped, now they are 72.99 plus shipping, and thats a GROUP buy. Jeez.

Yeah I saw the eBay ones (depos) this morning, but they are raping me on the shipping. ($25.) I'll probably just try to enjoy it and smoke a cigarette afterward.. Damnit. :mad

Zip tie it down. My fogs do not come out unless the zip tie is cut, no matter how hard you push on the release button or pry the lights. They will simply break rather than coming out.

That's a good idea. I was wondering about how to secure them once I replace them. Got any pics of where you placed the zip tie?

No. Don't even tell me how you are doing yours. I am posting this advice to secure the foglights so the potential reader/thieves on [BF.C] realize some of our stuff is harder to steal.

I thought about putting pictures but that will only show the thieves how to steal them again. I think everyone should do it slightly different to prevent easy theft.

Just sit there and think about it. Look at the foglight hole, and look at your foglights, and look at the long zip ties. Look at all this with your hood open. Sit there with a beer if you need that much time. You will figure out a way. And the foglights will be secure.

While you are there, drill small holes in your corner lights' outer brackets and secure those too. The front grills need to be secured as well. I am not kidding. After Rich's front bumper theft in front of his house, I secured my front bumper immediately. They stole his whole front end!! Bastards!

Now for me, removing the 4 front bolts, and the side screws will NOT allow the front bumper to come out. The key is in the sliding/guiding mechanism near the corners for the front bumper. This is only accessible internally. Again, sit with a beer (or smokes, but no porno) and the Zen like inspiration will come to you. Be sure to write all this down in case you ever sell your car to another person.

Yeah, that crossed my mind too; Probably a wise move. Kind of a shame, though. :(
