I'd like to purchase a wind deflector for my wife's E30 cabrio. If I have a membership, I can save quite a bit of money on this dealer item, which they are selling for $400+.

I'd like some details on how to join and also wondering if a current member would mind purchasing the deflector for us. We'll be in Oregon for a month and would also like to meet some fellow enthusiasts. We'll be around the Medford area.

My understanding is that some dealerships will give a discount. Maybe not all.

Have you checked prices at Pacific BMW (Glendale?) or Circle BMW (NJ?)? They both do online sales with very good discounts. If you order the parts and have them shipped to OR, you'll avoid sales tax.

Anyway, give me a call at work. We can get together for a cup of coffee or something.

I'm not an installer, although I've done most of the work on my cars. Thanks for the offer, but I'd lose my a$$ if I tried to make money doing that kind of work.

Another thing.....if you're getting the same price up here, you won't pay any sales tax. That's good for 8% or there abouts.

Whenever I go into a dealership for a part, they tell me that their prices are all different (and that theirs is lowest).
