I've got a set of ACS wheel locks that I think are made by Maguard (or however you spell it) and the key is stripped and no longer fits over the bolts. So i figure I should get a new set....

Are the OEM BMW wheel locks any good? How much do those run?

I have the OE wheels locks and an aftermarket set (yes, that means that I'm running two different wheel locks on every wheel). It makes me feel safe.

PS: the OE wheel locks look very cool with the caps on them.

But are the OE wheel locks good and reliable?

All wheel locks can be defeated with some time. It's only for slowing them down or detering the rookies. The OEM ones are not bad and are fairly inexpensive.

As far as what the wheel shops told me, the OEM are the safest ones.

are the "gorilla" brand wheel locks any good? I have a connection to grab a set for 12 bucks. Lugs nuts for $1 each.
