View Full Version : e36 M3 vs e36 M3
Wally 07-01-2005, 12:56 AM yeah yeah I know, Bimmers shouldn't race Bimmers. But I just had a sweet run with a 99 M3 in my 95.
I was going home from my night course, its a gorgeous night here in Phoenix and I had my windows down, just crusing down Van Buren to home...not for that you sickos who know what Van Buren is known for. ;)
I came up behind a silver e36, which is rare for these parts and I could tell it wasn't the typical stock 325i I see. What appeared before my eyes? But a ///M3 badge glistening in the passing street lamps.
Long story short, we played around for two stoplights and the stretch between. The climax was where he was a tad behind me, both of us going about 35-40, he downshifts into 2nd and takes off, I am about a 1/2 second to follow, punch it right as we are neck on neck and watch him SLOWLY gain on me until about 80. Since this is a 35 zone and cops are all over, we both shut down, coasted to the stoplight and exchanged a few words.
I found out he had a 99 M3, which I first thought was the reason why he was able to pull on me a little (plus the fact that he had the momentum), but he also said he was Sharked. The only thing I have is a SSK. We complimented each other on our cars and just drove casusally to the next light where he honked and took a right.
Sorry if it is too long, this is my first kill story. Its not really a kill for me, but we didn't really race fair...just thought it was a cool experiance as two ///M3 owners came together and had a little fun. :buttrock
I can't believe that I'm selling her :(

:lol
You are obviously a NOOBE. :rolleyes
First off the guy jumped on him first, secondly i doubt you even know what the term "sharked" means to make such a statement. The 99 M3 he raced has computer software or if you don't know what that means, it is what you call a "chip" for obdI cars. thats enough to pull on the 95 m3 the way it did. Secondly he did quite well for just an SSK.
Anyhoo, poster of this thread, i wouldn't even sell your baby to this kid, your going to see it wrapped around a tree or riced out from what he seems to know.
Very nice race, and you must know Bimmer on Bimmer action is porno to all of us here. The more details the better, and its ok to be lenghly, as long as you don't bore us. I say you did fairly well for your first kill write up. Keem em' comin.
Such harsh words in here. Hey wally do you go to UTI? The only school I can think of down by van buren. If so I would like to see your car some time I always love meeting new M's down here.
slickav 07-01-2005, 11:35 AM mmmmmm.... bav-porn.

You called him a "NOOBE" and went on a rant when he was obviously joking. The winking smiley nearly always means joking or teasing. It sounds to me like you are more a kid than the person who was considering buying the car. Wow...relax!

I'm taking classes at Gateway Community College. But I live on Van Buren downtown...PM sometime if you want to meet up or something. I always try to get to the azbmw.org meets, but something *always* comes up, I'm in class, or I have to work late. :(

Ok well my bad if i did not catch the sarcasm over the internet, if you don't know sarcasm doesn't really exist over the net. But basically i was telling him not to be discouraged from buying this car, if he is then he needs to learn a thing or two about bmws. Thats it. I hope he does get the ///M, and i hope he knows how to treat it.
By the way i love how you noobe's stick together, don't defend someone else with a post count of 53, you have no place to get involved. Please use your first posts wisely and keep them on topic, by replying to what i said you went off topic, read the forums rules if you haven't yet.

This ain't the first time you jumped down someone's throat for no real reason... Newb or not, you've been warned several times about conduct, so I'll warn you again to not scare off the newbs with your usual crap, ok?
If anyone needs a brush-up on the Etiquette threads parked at the top of this forum, it that's dude staring back at you in the mirror every morning...
