When I start my 535is in the mornings when the engine is cold I can smell fuel. Once the engine is heated up I cannot smell it anymore. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be and how i can fix it?

The first thing I'd check would be all of the hoses, piping, and injectors in the engine bay. If they can be exonerated you'll need to check all of the other parts of the fuel system all the way back to the tank. Even a very small seepage can cause a noticable gas smell.

Definately find the source of the smell quickly, I had this happen with my Mustang, and POOF! the car caught on fire a week later due to a failed fuel line. Lesson learned... Hope this doesn't happen to you though.

It's most likely your cold start valve, located belos the injectors on the right side.
