i always thot that after clay baring the car u shud always use a good wax. not sure if the wash n wax is enuf.

polish is used instead of wax.. it provides depth, gloss, and protection.. easier to apply and remove, and can be layered... if so desired i have a carnuba/synthetic polymer polish mix that can be applied as a final coat that can be finished with a spray bottle of distilled water for spot detail...

that is the reason the polish is applied after the clay and re-wash...

the wash'n'wax is merely a good non-alkaline car wash that you can continuously use in the future to keep from stripping the current polish and providing a little exra protection as you go...
