anybody make an 8mm wheel spacer for E36 M3? I looked on Turner's site and it seems like H&R doesn't make an 8mm spacer...

thanks :)

most of the ones I've seen are 5,10,12, and 15. IIRC AC Schnitzer made a 7mm, but I don't know where to find it.

There are spacers smaller than 12mm but they won't be hubcentric.

Turner makes 8 and 12mm "hubcentric" spacers which acheive their hubcentricity via their hub extenders.

Sunir...any machine shop should be able to turn down spacers for you. That said, there are plenty of 10mm spacers on the market.

As for 8mm spacers, here you go, right off the Turner website:
http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=TWH9905003

BUT, I'm not sure I see anything in the rules that allows you to use the hub extender in Prepared class. ;)

Not to open up a HUGE can of worms, but technically, as the rules are written, Prepared cars running spacers are ILLEGAL if their wheels are more than one inche wider or bigger in diameter than stock. In fact, spacers wouldn't be legal in Mod either. :devillook Obviously, I understand that this isn't the "intent" of the rules, but I just found it interesting. :)

From the Stock class wheel/tire rules (the only place spacers are mentioned, thus setting the precedent for Prepared and Mod):
F. Wheel type and style is free (except for width and diameter restrictions as specified in paragraphs G and H) providing the wheel meets or exceeds factory safety specs. Spacers may be used as long as long as the tire/wheel/spacer unit complies with paragraphs G & H.

G. Wheel width - One (1) inch wider than originally supplied wheel and any tire combination which fits under the stock body without modification except as noted in paragraph I, below. 1600, 2002 models may use up to 7" width (with the same bodywork restrictions).

H. Wheel diameter - One (1) inch larger than originally supplied diameter is allowed. Vehicles with TRX tires/wheels as stock may upgrade to 16".

thanks guys...yeah those hub extenders are for the front wheels it says but I was looking to use these spacers in the rear of the car...any thoughts? I figured just slap 'em on there and put the wheel on, didn't think about hubcentric or hub extenders per se since the rear spacers were so narrow compared to the fronts (we've used 12, 25, and 18 up there depending on wheel choice)...in the rear I've used 3mm, 5mm, and now want to try an 8mm back there...
