Had a great 2 day autox weekend. But on my very last run I really was hard on the gas pedal. The base of the pedal snapped off & was flopping around!Anyone else done that? Is there a fix?

I can still drive by applying pressure at the top of the pedal where the actuation rod is attached behind. Also the pedal return is a little sticky now.

I literally had the pedal to the metal. I showed the guys at the race for a few laughs.

This happened to me at the drag strip but the throttle kept getting stuck
when it was broke.I took a small cabinet hinge and fixed it till the new pedal came in

This happened to our track car March of 04. We just used some zip-ties to fix it and its been fine ever since. The release is just like it use to be.
