Hey guys, I am selling my 1989 325i with 93,000 miles. The car has been garaged and has no rust. The bottom was undercoated by the previous owner. This car runs better in the winter than it does in the summer! :) I think it has something to do with the high humidity hear. If you live in a state with high humidity you might want to have the fuel injection adjusted accordingly.
This car has been very reliable and I have not had any problems with it since I've owned it. The car scans clean when I use my Peake Research tool. Everything works in the car accept for the foglights. The left foglight lense will need to be replaced and both fog light bulbs will need to be replaced. The only other thing to report is that the indicator bulb for the brake lights comes on after it rains. The brake lights won't work for a couple minutes, but than the light goes away and they will work fine until the next rain. This is a common problem in BMW's and can be fixed if you want to by buying new tail light seals.
I have given this car oil changes every 3000 miles and have receipts for oil and filters. The car comes with 3 spare keys. The previous owner gave me a folder with receipts and the car has been well maintained with $3228.87 in total receipts. I am going to change the manual transmission fluid before I sell the car. I have the fluid and just need to find the time to change it.
This car has a moon roof, power windows, power locks (not keyless entry), AC that blows cold, ABS brakes, and a 10 Disc Sony CD Changer with remote. As you can see from the pictures the interior of this car is in very good condition. I would rate it a 9/10. The leather has no scratches or blemishes, the dash has no cracks, the headliner is also perfect. The carpet is very clean and there were only a couple spots I wasn't able to get out.
The paint is in good condition. I would rate it a 7/10. It shows signs of being a 16 year old car, but it is in better condition than most for its age. The right front corner panel has paint that is in a strange conition. The paint has tiny hairline cracks in it that you can't feel. It is hard to notice this panel from 5 feet, but when you get up close it is noticeable.
The previous owner told me that the car has been in no accidents to his knowledge. He too thought it was strange that the paint on the right front corner panel had cracks in it and said that the car might have been in a fender bender where that was repainted. I would appreciate it if someone posted the carfax. The VIN is WBAAA1303K8255598
I am selling this car because I am going to Australia for school next semester. I have debated storing it in my parents garage until I get back. If I can't get the price I want for it than I just store it and drive it when I get back. I am asking $4000.
Thank You,
Geoff
