Sometimes my horn works fine. Other times not at all. Nothing in between. This one item is stopping me from passing inspection. I cleaned the conductor ring on the back of the steering wheel. I swapped the horn relay with another identical relay. No change.

Anyone have any advice?

ps I drove over to the local dealership on tuesday and it turned in to a 3 car shark fest. Two 635s and one M6 parked in 3 adjacent spots.

Anyone? Maybe an exorcism?

not sure but bring a fog horn to the inspection and blow it in their ear and say "HOW'S THIS!"
