I just recently bought a Sirius Sportster radio by audiovox. And while I was able to run the antenna and hide the wires for that, the power is still being provided by it plugging into the cigarette lighter. I have the wire taps already to go, I was just wondering where would be the best place to gain access to a 12v wire and ground, also, which ones would they be, I'm almost scared to look under the dash at all the wires under there!

I am not specifically familiar with the wiring of an e34 but my prior experience with automotive wiring leads me to beleive that there should be a place for a connection in the fuse box that is labeled ACC or accessory. That would be my recomendation for wiring since it will turn off and on with the key and is protected by a fuse.

Hope this helps and if I am incorrect someone pelase correct me.

good luck

I dont believe there is an AUX connection in the fuse box, and I was thinking I could just tap into a 12v lead thats someplace under the dash, any ideas?

How about the lead supplying power to your radio?
