Anyone know how to make the top go down by just pressing remote unlock button???? I know I can do it by inserting key but I have seen a Z4(3.0) owner do it by just pressing the remote.

Any help would be apppreciated!!!!!!

only can be done on certain builds or if you buy a 3rd party modual thats about $400-$500

Hit the unlock button on your remote two times. On the third time, hold down the unlock button to bring down the top..
(If your car is built after Apr. 2004, you definetely have this feature...not so sure about pre April 2004 built models...)

After you unlock the driver and passenger sides (press unlock twice with pause inbetween) then on the third time hold the unlock button down until the windows roll down and the top goes all the way down. Sadly it dosn't work the other way around with putting the top up.

On mine you don't need the multiple pulses.... just hold it down.
& It does go up from the drivers door lock though.
