Hey guys, dont come in here too often, but I was asked by a friend to try and find the sales figures on E24 6's. specifically 633CSi's, but id be interested in all the figures myself, any one have a link or a txt of this stuff? much appreciated.

btw, I love all 6's. New and old. My friends father has a 1982 633CSi in stick, silver, lovely car!

I think - but cannot remember - this information may be on www.bigcoupe.com so check there.

THis I do remember - the early 80's were the "heyday" if you will of E24 importation. i.e. there were more of them imported per year in the early 80's than certainly the late 80's.

Further - the late 80's spelled the doom of 5-speed's in the 635 E24's - down to 185 or so imported in 1988 and 110 imported in 1989 (those #'s are sticks - total numbers were between 1-2K each of those last 2 years)

SOme totals that I do remember - between 1976 and 1989 - only 86,000 (auto's and sticks) were made worldwide. Official US imports were about 26,000 throughout this period beginning in 1977 (grey market Euro #'s not included)
