Just browsing the BMW Individual site and noticed that Estoril Blue was offered for the Z4. Found some pics (not sure if I can hotlink). Damn, looks really nice. . .

for an extra $2k it's available, bleh(though if they had offered the individual program last july I probally would have paid it lol)

I could be mistaken but the 3.0i in the second pic I think was originally a merlot car that was totalled & another individual(new owner) rebuilt it & painted it estoril.

Yes, that look's like microsys' car.

:D Yes, you are right, flyinggonzo!, the top three are of my car... While we are at it, I will show some of the recent ones after I changed out rims to ACS type IV 18" with PS2 tires..

I put my story here:
http://www.z4um.com/viewtopic.php?t=9899 (pictures at the bottom of page 1 and continues at page 2)

But for the record, the original owner didn't have insurance. So there was "no totalling or salvaging title" of the car. I will need to get out my scanner and pic that as well to prove it is a clean title.. She didn't want to fix it as she said she will just get another one. *shrug* I thank her for leaving the 2003 Z4 with 13,200 miles for me to fix and drive. Meaning, no car payments for a long while..

Of coarse, if she did have insurance on it, I would NOT have the chance to own this car. But still debateable whether if an insurance company would have totalled it or not. Personally, I think they would have because I had to replace the SMG transmission (BMW dealer charged me $3900), but other estimators are saying it might not have due to the high value of the car at the time KBB was $35,000.. Also depends on the insurance company..So who knows..

I have to say though, the last two pics, the chrome headlights is nice.. At the time when I bought my headlights, the dealer only gave the option of amber lights or clear lights.. But I like the black since it gave a "hollow" look to the headlights.. might have to change them out for the chrome... ;)

those ACS wheels are beautiful

I am curious though, I believe you said in your post over @ z4um, that the tires are the same 235's on all 4 corners. Any reason you went with those over the stock set up of 225 & 255?

That is what ACS recommended using so I just went with that..
