I ran a buddys 94 Z28 A4. He dyno'd 301rwhp and ran 13.5@105 on street tires. We went from a dead stop and from a roll. From a stop I hurt him pretty good, about 4cars or so, as his car burns the tires bad from a dig and the M hooks well. We went again from about a 15-20mph roll and I pulled about a 1/4 car on him in each gear to pull about 1+ cars by the end. Pretty happy with the little M. Can't wait to get a few parts on it. Should be a solid high 12sec runner w/ some pulleys, CAI and exhaust.

Glad to hear it...
I thought it was just me when I took out a WS6 TA this morning...

A stock WS6 LS1 is just a little bit slower than a nicely broken in SMG car. Once they start modding the LS1, its over for us though.
Of course, if you have a standard 6 speed, you'll pick up a half second over the SMG if you practice and have good tires. On top of that, get some headers, hiflow cats, software...

Wo I'm not saying your lying but I've seen ws6s stock run high 12s at the track. They are very underrated in terms of hp. Of course on the street anything can happen.

A 94 Z28 has a LT1. Not an LS1. Totally different than the WS6 you guys are talking about.

Sky ran the Camaro... I inadvertently hijacked the tread by stating that I beat a WS6 on my way to work.

let it ripp the m3 is a great launching car and that were its time comes from so if your at the track or the street you can run very low 13s. ls1 cant hook up on the street but put up preety good track # :)

Thats at the track, and unless someone sprays down the street with some VHT track treatment, I doubt they'll get good traction in an LS1 F body. :D
My friend DJ spins through the first three gears in his 99 SS. He launches at idle too.

Once they start modding the LS1, its over for us though.Dont count the M out. You can get some really good power via forced induction. Ive already taken out a 500rwhp Cobra.

Hows the rest of your drivetrain holding up to that power?

Yeah, and DJ's Camaro SS takes them out too - NA. On 87 gas. :(

as an LT1 owner...im very surprised at what Im hearing. not saying anyone is BS'ing but I live in boca and run across M3's all day either on the street or at the track. my car put down 285rwhp and about 302rwtq and i run 13.20's @ 107. now M3's down here average 105 traps. I kill M3's out of the whole on my worst day. the only reason they are good from a dig is because of too low low end torque. my car has no wheel spin whereas at the track M3's turn 2.4-2.5 60's like its no-ones business

Guys who do a 2.4 60 foot in an M3 need some practice. Even an SMG is capable of a 2.2, and there are several people who've gotten them down to 1.9, which is right where the standard 6 speed guys are at.
