I found one for sale, haven't seen in person yet but has 89,400 miles on it and they are asking $26,500. Is this to much?

View Full Version : What would you pay for E46 89K miles? TT Quattro 06-11-2005, 08:10 AM I found one for sale, haven't seen in person yet but has 89,400 miles on it and they are asking $26,500. Is this to much? jake1sir 06-11-2005, 11:38 AM sounds like a good deal to me! RiChi 06-11-2005, 12:04 PM Ouch the miles are kinda high! I personally think the price can be a little lower. What year is it? Ali 06-11-2005, 03:23 PM Yea I've seen that car (if its the silver '01), Personally I wouldn't pay over 25k for it... YetiX 06-11-2005, 03:33 PM Doesn't sound like that great a deal in less it's in awesome condition. I agree with Ali. zivilyn861 06-11-2005, 09:44 PM I personally wouldn't buy one of these cars with that many miles, but that's just my opinion. I think we're just on the fringe of seeing how long these motors last in comparison to the e36s, and if you're into leading the charge on that effort, go for it. I'd say go for a car that's more in the normal price range of the e46 m3, else you stand the chance of putting 2x what you saved back into it to keep it running. Just my $0.02. markdm3 06-11-2005, 10:43 PM I found one for sale, haven't seen in person yet but has 89,400 miles on it and they are asking $26,500. Is this to much? I don't think its two much for a M3 for that kind of $$$. 01's with average mileage are still in the mid to high 30's. Take a look at the car, if the car's clean, the price is right. These cars are built strong...don't fret. normanbaites 06-21-2005, 02:22 PM im wondering the same thing, when do these cars start having serious problems because im lookint at a used 02 with almost 80,000 milse on it, the guy is just asking for me to take over payments which equal 30,000. does that seem like a good deal, or would paying 45 for less miles be a better idea? BimmerMan20 06-23-2005, 03:24 PM it might sounds cheap now or watever but think about the long run. It has almost 90k miles. Warranty has to be gone if not very close..not sure if it has the 100k warranty. The car has high miles but what if it starts breaking its gona cost you a arm and a leg. Pay alittle more and get something with lower miles. A friend of mine justpicked up a 02..carbon blck..6 speed..for 32k with 41k miles on the car. |
