Summary of the track day:
I drove the first two sessions with the coilovers at full soft in the front and half way in the rear. Man, did the car rotate or what! It was crazy fun and a bit scary for some of you riders (if you all ever have the pleasure to ride with me sometime).
Total track time = 80 mins
Total track miles = 77.1 miles
Total miles for the day = 364 miles
Total gallons of gas for the day = 35 gallons

In the 3rd and 4th session, I turned the shocks to level 5 out of 6 (near full stiff) and kept the rear at 3 out of 6. I managed to get the car to hit 110 mph at the two straights (cuz I havent' learned the exits to get the car to hit 120 mph yet). The brake pads held up very well and there is really no dusting of the brake pads, I love these SS-M Endless brake pads! Most of the track you are hitting 3rd and occassionally 4th once you get up to speed. Only the backstraight I had to shift into 5th to keep the revs down from overworking the car. There was this one turn I shifted into 2nd to try out new things, but in all, the track is A BLAST TO DRIVE!

And I have soo many little stories and situations to tell you all when I was messing around with the other drivers.. it's great to have a quiet car, the guy is all suprised to see a family sedan just creep out of a corner out of nowhere and then have to give me a passing signal cuz he can't see the hood of my car in his rear view mirror anymore. I also had fun with my teammates Vic Hall and Alex May. I was just laughing too hard when Alex and I were chasing down this 944 and we were bomb-diving him on both sides.. the driver of the 944's face was priceless! :eyecrazy

I'll work on re-ripping the video to have the correct audio and compress the video down some more to make sure all the files are under 10 mb so I can upload to www.putfile.com

Stay Tuned! (btw, I did pass a few Porsches, an NSX, some mustangs, older RX7s, and a Mini or two during the day).

Racecomp Engineering/Xenonk Legacy GT rocks!!!

the carnage for the day (yes, that is a piece of his ROTOR on the ground), it's the same jump that the STi at One Lap event crashed as well.

Sup keefe, sounds like you had a fun time at summit. I saw you at B&N but you just drove by.

The video was nice, reminded of when i got a ride in a instuctors 95 LTW M3.

What type of event was it? A Driving School or lapping day?
Odd to see a convertible with no roll bar.

yea, it was a HDPE day basically. Eventhough I was in Group 2, there were a lot of slow drivers.. I guess they are the ones that are trying to get signed off for seat time.
