I originally started a thread about BMW's Mobile traditions Manual on the 6series. I was having trouble getting it to run. I don't know what happened to the thread, that's why part two. The problem was, I couldn't get the cd to run. The program would install, but when you tried to run it, you would get "run time error. out of memory". I am running an Athlon 64 chip with 1 gig. of ram, Windows xp home. One of the posts said that others had had the same problem and that the program doesn't like lots of ram. Well, I had chucked the program in a drawer and somewhat forgot about it. Yesterday, I got it out and it RAN!!! What's the difference?? My son had taken half of my ram out so he could use it in his machine for a game that he plays. So it is true. If you have this problem, try removing some of your ram, I am down to 512 and it works. There is a work around that doesnt' involve removing the memory chips from the computer - but I forget what it is.
