I was watching the history channel (lable me a geek now) about the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel and it occured to me that a drive over would be something scenic and to remember, especially with 50 other bimmers, any thoughts?

do you know where the CBBT is? its almost to VA BEach..... Doubt anyone wants to go for a 4 hour drive everyone would get lost.. over the bridge might be fun.. or maybe to OC but with a meeting point...Even oc would be pushing it at 2:30 hrs

Bridge-Tunnel, like the subject says. And yes, it's $12. Return trip $5 if within 24 hours.
It is a nice drive if you have something to do in Virginia Beach.

Do a lap around the bay. South on I-95 to I-64 to the CBBT, then go north along Chincoteague and Assateague and back across the Rt 50 Bay Bridge. It's about 8 hours in the car as long as you start reasonably close to I-95.
I've done it once. It's quite a day trip.

I couldnt sit in a car for 8 hours for no reason.. I would have to be traveling to a vacation spot or something
