My dove vaders look like shit. I went on a road trip and my co-pilot almost never wore a shirt, now there are sweat stains and all kinds of filth that I can't get off in my seats. What will fix my vaders??? :(

Burdell 06-07-2005, 02:42 PM A treatment with Leatherique (http://www.leatherique.com/) Rejuvenator Oil, followed up with Pristine Clean, may get the dirt out. Make your co-pilot wear a shirt next time. I seem to be recommending Leatherique a lot lately. :) xjeeper 06-07-2005, 03:27 PM believe it or not I just finished using gojo.... the orange pumice hand cleaner and an electric toothbrush with GREAT success. It cleaned everything up real nicely. After I cleaned everything up I put on a liberal coating of meguiar gold class leather cleaner/conditioner. Very happy with the results. billyhead 06-07-2005, 03:56 PM followed by the Lexol wipes (I hate their spray stuff).... But unless your co-pilot is a well built chick, make him wear a frigging shirt. :-) Bill shawn5096 06-07-2005, 10:07 PM believe it or not I just finished using gojo.... the orange pumice hand cleaner and an electric toothbrush with GREAT success. Casebrius 06-07-2005, 10:55 PM 5:1 woolite and water and a stiff boar's hair brush works well. Scrub it and wipe with a MF after. How hard are vaders to take out? xjeeper 06-08-2005, 12:41 AM it doesnt hurt the leather at all, its not abrasive enough. Just squirt it all over the seat and scrub till its clean.... wipe it up when its done. Smeels like oranges too! hal9000 06-08-2005, 02:18 AM it doesnt hurt the leather at all, its not abrasive enough. Just squirt it all over the seat and scrub till its clean.... wipe it up when its done. Smeels like oranges too! Ummm, not quite. 1) Think of it this way, If it's good enough to remove grease (not only thru abrasives) from your hands, what does it do to the oils in the leather. 2) Have you felt it sting when you've got cuts on your hands? That's because it's acidic. There's a reason why the best leather conditions and cleaners are pH balanced, ie neutral. G. P. Burdell 06-08-2005, 07:07 AM I would also be concerned about leftover pumice particles that would find their way into the seams and creases, not to mention the stitching. It's really better to use products that are designed for cleaning leather. xjeeper 06-08-2005, 02:17 PM whatever. dont do it then. cleoent 06-08-2005, 07:10 PM whatever. dont do it then. :rofl He gets upset for you guys trying to protect is car.. awesome :buttrock xjeeper 06-08-2005, 07:51 PM You have it all wrong, i'm not upset. quite the contrary, im just saying do whatever you want.
