If you guys would like to autox with the PCA I can suggest that they invite the dA. As I am new to the PCA I don't know if I have any influence but they say that they have invited the BMW club in the past and the Mustang club was invited to the last event.

Do you want me to ask if dA can be included in the 21 Aug event?

PCA Autox Schedule
12 Jun E-Center
21 Aug SLCC
24, 25 Sept Wendover
16 Oct Davis Co Fairgrounds.

Hey. I'm not a member of BMWCC but, if they are willing accept dA;
I would really Appreciate it!

I think you're right. Apparently they're having some kind of class coming up too.
I think we best Un-Suck ourselves.

Go and fix it: https://www.bmwcca.org/members/AM/Template.cfm?Section=On_Line_Join

Don't forget to get a name and member number for the referral information. ;)

Hmm, what are the details of the PCA events? (are they similar to the SCCA style?)

Any openings for this Sunday? (since the detail fest may be postponed) :devillook

PEOPLE SIGNING UP FOR BMWCCA - PLease let me know when you do (Uli I know you did) and I will confirm you make it on the WBMWCCA list.

Uli (or was it someone else) stated in another thread not too long ago that they had signed up with BMWCCA and never received correspodence from any local folks. I want to make sure this doesnt happen again. :buttrock

The PCA is a bit different than the SCCA, not as inclusive. Individuals who are not PCA members can race only if they drive a pcar.

The PCA does occasionally invite other car clubs. I didn't consider asking them to invite the dA this weekend because I know a few people are going to the SCCA school/event in Wendover. If we are going to have the bimmers come I'd like to do it when we can have a good turnout.

There are few other differences, no passengers, less entry fee, fewer cars so the event is shorter (less standaround time).

Here's a link to the Intermountain PCA site (http://vista.pca.org/int/) where they have the rules, schedule, ... .

Cool. Well, I may never drive a P-car unless of course it is a Cayanne T. (due to my size).

Lou, you & Chas will have to come out to Pahrump sometime, there was a considerable amount of P-cars out there this past weekend.

Johnny, are you going to the school in Wendover this Saturday?

Detailfest can't happen this weekend. There are a good number of us doing the school thing this weekend and the autoX event the next day (sunday)

Oh it can still happen. All we need is some dirty cars. Not everyone is auto-xing.

I am doing a service project with 4 wheel drive club this Saturday. We are restoring a trail in San Pete Co. So rockcrawler this weekend, the bmw got to play last weekend.

We'll see what the turnout will be. If not, it may be sometime before I can host another one as I have obligations in the upcoming weeks.
