I ordered spray paint cans from Tower Paints to do my bumpers and Im wondering if I can prime and paint the bumpers the same day or do I have to wait 24hrs for primer to dry first. I will have use of a friend's garage for a max of 2 days.. I'd like to do it all in 1 day if possible. :rolleyes

primer coat isn't necessary - just rough down the original paint with 300 grit, clean well with a degreaser and tack cloth and start laying down your paint.
If your paint is heavily oxidated though - you'd probably just want to get rid of all the paint and start with primer.

any thoughts on what clear to use ? I went to a paint supply store and they told me some clears from cans will literally lift the paint...?? Any advice on what type/brand of clear I should lay after painting ? How long after painting should I apply clear? :confused

Don't listen to them - as far as I know - you can use duplicolor or rustoleam clear that you can get at most Home Depots/Autozones.
Just to be safe though, get a piece of metal and spray some of the tower paint on it. Let it dry and spray a layer of whatever clear you choose on top and watch for paint reactions - if it doesn't do anything, you're golden.
You don't absolutely need paint with flex additive in it - as long as you're careful during installation, you should be fine. The paint loses it's "flex" properties that you get from the additive in around a week anyway. You're keeping the bumper covers on the bumper supports anyway - so they shouldn't flex that much.
