I was about to order the Leatherique 32oz. kit and I was wondering if anyone else had ordered this kit, how many seats did you do with this kit. I've got a few sets of seats at home that I need to work on, and I hope I can get them all done with just one purchase.

Each seat will require 4 oz of Rejuvenator Oil.

Great. I think the 328 seats may take a second pass of rejuvenator, then there's a set of black maxima seats I just purchased, tan maxima seats that I'll probably sell after I get them cleaned up, and the two Z3 seats to do.

I think I ordered the 32oz kit.
And I mabye used up like 1/4 of the bottle? But I still Have the front seats to go.
Heres a tip for the kit.
Prepwork = EVERYTHING, you must get ALL the old dye off and clean it up as best you can in order to get a great end product! Also, dont buy cheap brushes to apply the leather dye!
Sad thing is, it takes hours to prep, but like 30 minutes to dye the seats.
Good luck! If your stripping the leather with laquer thinner, get a resperator mask.. trust me, youll save A LOT of breain cells, and wont get sick from the fumes.

depending on how bad the seats are it should last for a while. Use spray bottles to reduce consumption and work it in with your hands.

I just did my dove gray interior in my m and let it sit for a week, mostly because it was raining and the seats are like butter now.

joe325is, better stay away from the laquer thinner, pezking4 is just going to treat the seats with Leatherique RO and PC. :)

pezking4, I think the 32oz kit will get you a nice start. You'll want to treat again in 6 months. If the seats are in good shape, the 4 oz/seat is very generous, but the 16oz kit would not be enough. Anyway, you'll use it all eventually and order more.

Ok, here's a slightly OT question but hopefully someone can answer it - can I use the leatherique kit on my seats where the actual leather is worn down to a suede-looking material? On the side bolster on my driver's side seat, one portion is really worn down, it's not smooth like the rest of the leather, and like I said has a suede-like texture. Is there any way to prepare it for leatherique?

Dan,

What's happened there is that you've worn the top finish off the bolster. I don't know what would happen if you put RO on that, so I think you should call the Leatherique people and discuss it with them. You might also be able to re-dye just that spot.
