Called them today for a pair of trim parts that are NLA from BMW. After being on hold for a few minutes, a customer serv. rep. answers. I asked for a pair of drip rail moldings for a e28 m5 that I'm restoring. All I wanted was a pair of good used ones. I did'nt care about the color, as I can have them powder coated. All he said was that they don't take those parts off. I offered $200.00 for a used pair. At this price you can afford to pay someone for 10 minutes of their time to remove a pair. It took me 5 minutes to remove mine. They still would'nt do it. What's wrong with them. Seems no one wants to make money. Heck, if the guy came back with $250.00 for the pair, I would have paid it and had my driver go pick it up. At $200.00 that certainly would help pay for insurances for that employee to remove those trim parts and put a little money in the owners pocket for just 10 minutes of their time for a part that they would just dispose of.

By the way, I went to the local Pick Your Part the following saturday. After paying admission, I saw an e28, pulled off the drip rail moldings and after 5 minutes and $7.00 I had my moldings. Bavarian Auto Recycling must employ the laziest people. THEY SUCK!

sorry to hear that ... i dont know who you spoke to or what happened but from my experience they've been great and were ALWAYS willing to help out when i needed parts.

I do know one thing however, and that is how busy they are. If you ever go there you will understand what i'm talking about ... the phone just doesnt stop ringing and they can only help so many people at a time. I'm sure there is a good reason they dont sell those particular parts or maybe they didnt have them in stock.

all i know is that every time I or my friends have dealt with them they managed to provide outstanding service and i would not hesitate to reccomend them to anyone.

I got a 1999 m3 driveshaft from them, they were extremely helpful to me and delivered the parts rather quickly. It did take them a bit of time to actually ship the part, but I assume they had to take the time to actually remove the part and then pack it. What I got was packed well and the shaft was in excellent condition.

QUOTES from their site ... wow they followed that closely..

Man am i Angry , but ill let the facts and evidence do the talking about my expienrce with ordering a transmission swap and other parts.

I ordered the parts on june 21 and the customer service /sales rep brad was great he was helpful and knowlegable on what i was ordering. They gave me an estimate of shipping for around 7-10 days , that is what they told me.These are working days so i figured a few days to gather parts and ship and ill even give em slack with the holiday approaching. OK i called july 5th and asked a shipping estimate and they told me they hadnt even shipped yet , due to back up of oreders and they would send it out and i would get it the following week in the later part of the week (around july 13 or 15th) . So i figured ok i can understand. :nono

I was also mad because by this time i had taken exhaust and driveshaft and pedals out of my car so as to speed process when parts arrived . And now i didnt have a car for another week. :mad

I called back the monday of next week the 18 or maybe the 19 and they said it still hadnt shipped yet and they said it would arrive next week and they would work on the prts for me and push other orders to the side and expedite things. Yeah right. I called back today to check on orders satus and they finally said it would arrive tommrow what bull shit. only a month and change to deliver it yeah......

* Reasons for my outrageous complaint.
1. Falsly gave me many shiping dates and i had to reorganize my schedule.
2. They charged my credit card the day after i ordered, What bullshit they hadnt even apparently found or shipped parts yet.
3.They offered no sorry we wont charge for shipping or 10% off , or anythin just we were busy and we were backed up , which i can understand if they would have just told me instead of constantly lieng to me about when it should ship.

I urge any memebers who want expediant service and good customer service to never use this company. I will update when parts arrive to tell whether they even sent me the right parts :(
