I usually try to use my different color microfibers to do different things. I was thinking though that as long as you wash them everytime would it be ok to per say use one that was used for interior cleaner last time for removing SG this time?

I think you're right. Otherwise, you'd have to wash them seperately, too.

One hint for MF is that you might want to use some Woolite instead of regular laundry detergent. It seems to make them softer. Also, I've read that people recommend that you dry air dry if you can. I use low heat on the dryer until the towels are just damp then switch over to the air dry cycle. You can just hang them out to dry this time of year.

Yeah I definately always air dry them, I though something said not to use a fabric softner...which I thought is what woolite is.

No, I think you're confusing it with Downy. Definitely do not use a fabric softener or dryer sheet.

Woolite is a detergent, a very good detergent. People use it to wash wool sweaters and very fine fabrics.

I use about a half a capful in half a tub of water to wash all my MF.

For the last four years or so that I've been using mf towels I've always used Tide Free with a scoop of Oxyclean with a hot water wash and cold double rinse. Every towel that I have looks great. This combination has even removed the nastiest of dirt stains.

I follow up by chucking them in the dryer on the no heat setting, which is still pretty warm and have only a couple of times had issues with static cling on them. I prefer the dryer because it makes the towels fluffy and soft. I tried air drying and found that the towels were never fluffy.

Although Woolite is an excellent product, I was under the impression that it did, in fact, contain a fabric softener. Unless you you're 100% sure, I'd stick to Tide Free.

Excellent info, jimwh. The Oxyclean might help removing the difficult stains.

I checked the Woolite FAQ (http://www.woolite.com/faq.shtml) and it says that Woolite contains no fabric softeners or bleach.
