Hi everyone, how is everybody doing? Im new here and just bought a 2003 525i, cant wait to start modding it...the first mod i have in mind is pretty simple but i have no idea how to get started, i want to get clear corners...i checked ebay and the only thing i can find is the whole headlight assembly with clears..which is like 800 bucks...i was wondering if i can mod my amber turn signals into clear corners without buying a whole new assembly...if anyone has any info it would be great. Thanks...o here is a pic of her i took the other day.

Welcome aboard,

Your first mod should be to take the license plate frames from the dealer off!

I have heard of people using some silver paint, but someone will pop in and give you a site with a DIY way.

Unfortunately you can not take AE lights apart, you'll have to buy the whole assembly, but here is a solution for you :) if you lights are xenon, I'll buy them, so you'll get a nice break for the new lights, would be good deal for both of us.

Would be a pita... it is possible to remove the amber... it will be all black once you do so... I think it has only been done once and the guy who did it wouldn't do it again.

It is better off just getting the Euro Hellas and selling your OE ones.

hmm i guess thats the easiest way huh...also would anyone know the offset of the rims that can fit the 5 series? Im planning on getting 19inch ACS type 3s...along with a nice drop, but not sure which brand of lowering springs i should go with..anyone have any good experiances with brands?

It would be the best way to do it... imo not worth risking opening up the stock ones and trying to reseal it so it wouldn't leak.

for a 19x8.5 offset should be 15-20. For 19x9.5, offset should be between 18-20. For 19x10 at least 20-25.

If you want a nice drop, get coilovers... KW's are a great choice for coilovers... A bit on the expensive side though.

Naw bro... I barely clear most bumps going right over them... I need to crawl over them though... If there is a huge one, then yes I would need to go one wheel at a time.

Good deal on KW coilovers ending 6/4/05 $300-$400 off normal pricing...
