View Full Version : A few pics, finally got some clears

Here is my incredibly dirty car. Finally got me some clears. They're Depos and they were the easiest and most effective mod I've done yet. Unfortunately the fitting of the ballasts was all wrong, so I couldn't get any of the bulbs to fit without some filing and sanding, but eventually I got them to fit. I was all over the place these last few days and snapped a few pics here and there, so pardon the sudden changes in setting.

The fronts came in the mail while I was away. Looks like the install might be a bit difficult since I'll need a really short screwdriver, and I'm having trouble finding the screw that will fit the hole in the upper right of the following pic. Stupid cramped engine bay. I need to move the battery to the back seat like the newer E34s to make some room.

Next I'm thinking I'll smoke all the corner lights since white is a bit intense on a black car, and I'm definitely going to be getting that rear bumper painted.

Looks great. I personally like amber front corners for some reason. I think it adds character.

Stay with the clear corners, just put the amber bulbs in them. This way you can see a yellow tint in them. Looks good.

Much better! Sounds like I'll be next going clear. Ah still saving up some.

Now let's get to work on that bumper!

Wow, I haven't seen that view from Coit in a long time.....Still a beauty!

I like the clean look of the clears, looking good. I also like the debadge look too.

Stay with the clear corners, just put the amber bulbs in them. This way you can see a yellow tint in them. Looks good.

Love the read/clear tailights, it really cleans up the car. The fronts will look nice as well, just a REAL PAIN IN THE BUTT to got to them..
