RAC RG4 Monolites, 19 x9 & 19 x 10. Car handles brilliantly. Ubdersteer is all but gone from what I can tell from limited street driving.

are you lowered (if so, how much) and did you have to move anything around suspension wise or fender wise in the wheel well?

TCK coilovers go on monday. Fitment should not be an issue as there will be more camber than there is now which will further angle the tires into the wells as they rise during compression. I'm not going for an uber slammed look, the coilovers will be set for street performance with chicago roads in mind. :evil2 I'll post more pics once i get the car back tuesday. A whole bunch of goodies are going on...X-mas in june! :redspot

I've heard that if you run 275 up front, you have may have rubbing problems against the suspension and inner fender liner (not so much on the outside). I'd be curious how your setup goes...

I'm running a 13" ride height (measured from the corner of the frame right behind the front wheel) with approx 2° of negative camber.

The exact set up I'm running has been on another M3 for a while now with no issues. I wonder if it's strictly an offset issue with regards to rims. I guess we'll know more in a few days.

what is the front offset of your wheels please!

I have no idea. :D

But I'll find out.

I'm running the same wheels and was looking to upgrade to 275/30 (f) and 285/30 (r), but I was told that the front would be an issue. There would be extensive rubbing on the shock tower and the fender liner with the ride height that I am running. Maximum I would be able to pull off without modification would be a 265/30 (f), but even still that would be a stretch.

So for the time being, I'm still on 245/35 and 275/30, but from the looks of it, it looks like my front wheels still out more than yours do... maybe it's because of the ride height.

The car is stock height now?

yeah kev, stock ride height until monday. looking at your pics I don;t think I'll be slamming the car down quite as low as you. prolly an 1 1/2" drop from stock. the 285's in the rear would seem to pose a bigger threat than the 275's up front. at most I might have to trim the wheel well liner, but I don't think it'll rub on the strut.

I'll post tuesday as soon as I have the car back.

What tires are you running? I found out the hard way that a 275 width tire is not always 275mm. I got a set of Falken FK-451's with the rear 275/30/19 on a 19x9.5 wheel. The tire looks about the width of the 245 S03's that I had on the front before. It looks stretched on the 9.5" wheel. The front 245/35/19's look like they are 225's. Needless to say, that will be the last set of Falkens I ever buy.

The pics of your front tires don't really look as wide as a normal 275 so I'm wondering if your tires are on the narrow side as well. That may be why you're not having any rubbing problems.

we had to roll the rear fenders to stop a severe rub. It's no longer an issue. The coilovers are amazing. The car handles like a go kart now and I could not be more pleased. I went with 400 / 400 spring rates with the shocks set at 4 from softest front / 3 rear and the dmpning set at 5 from softest on all 4. Have yet to bed the brembos so I can't really comment on them yet. The Dinan exhaust sounds like ripping silk...SMG blips are even more fun.

RW - I'm running Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tires.

Kevlar - I'll measure ride height sometime this afternoon for ya.

had to roll the rear fenders? :eyecrazy: that's strange, unless you dropped the rear down way more than I did. My rears don't rub, even with the 275/30/19 rear tires and a 13" ride height (or slightly over). The fronts, I'm suprised those didn't rub, I'm so confused now.
