. . .. ... .:: Harly Wax :::. . . .... .. .

I used this stuff when they distributed thru now-defunct Fedco. (any SoCal natives remember Fedco pizza? :stickoutt ) They disappeared from shelves and my last can ran out in 1998.

I remember thinking how awesome this stuff was in terms of how long it lasted and the deep-deep shine it gave vs. the cost. Recently, I discovered someone is still distributing this stuff out of Westminster,CA. Here is the website:

http://harlywax.com/HarlyWax/

Doing google searches on using Harly Wax turned up non-quantifiable opinions i.e. "it was great! it was good! loved it!" and not the deep level of analysis that we have here in Show & Shine (thanks David).

As a recently-enlightened but still-novice car detailer, I'm wondering if any detail experts have used this stuff and if so what is their opinion vs cost vs quality vs ease of application/removal?

Given the price (14/oz @ $17)
+ my recollection of outstanding shine & depth (granted, as a neophyte)
+ it's lack of street-presence (poor marketing on Harly's behalf?)

I want to say this stuff might be an undiscovered jewel that never got marketed right ala Meguirs, etc......In essence a good product with bad marketing.

Anyone have input?? :redspot

It just seems like regular Carnauba wax.....nothing special.

from what I've read, it is good but can be tough to buff. I'd buy S100 abd call it a day!
