A friend of mine was wondering whether the Z4 trunk is big enough for golf clubs. Anyone able to get their clubs in there?
Thanks!

View Full Version : Bag of golf clubs fit into Z4 trunk? JamesM3M5 06-01-2005, 02:48 PM A friend of mine was wondering whether the Z4 trunk is big enough for golf clubs. Anyone able to get their clubs in there? Thanks! Ridgeway 06-01-2005, 08:26 PM while I have never personally put a bag in the z4 trunk, I do know for a fact that a bag/clubs will fit docsmile09 06-01-2005, 10:17 PM One bag will fit in a Z3 roadster...so I'm sure it will fit in a Z4. The Z4 is wider and has more cu ft in the trunk. You may have to take out the driver and lay it diagonally in the trunk though. The thing that still shocks me is the fact that Honda engineers were able to design a 5 cu ft trunk that fits TWO golf bags in the S2000. Z3 roadster also has 5 cu ft of space but can barely fit one. zeefourdaddy 06-01-2005, 11:10 PM the Pings fit fine. I have to put the open end in first. If you have an extra long shaft (ha,ha!) driver, take it out of the bag first. I have the ping g2 driver and take it out as you will have to slighty force it in. That is exactly what I was looking for. tmachine 06-02-2005, 10:47 PM The instructions say to take the drivers out and lay them in on an angle either on top or on the bottom and you can hold two golf bags. philipm7 06-03-2005, 07:03 PM I was looking at the SLK and the Z4. When I realized that you can not even put 1 bag in an SLK with the top down, I instantly went for the Z4 (liked it better anyway). I personally had 2 bags(both carry) in my Z4 last weekend. As others stated, take out all woods. Put the first bag all the way in the back between the 2 strut towers (under the moveable shelf). The second bag fits easily behind the first bag. All woods may be placed on top after the bags are In! Hit em straight! Phil :redspot |
