Car wash idiot ruin my 93 E34 I had since brand new. Ok I was lazy. didn't wash my car for 2 weeks of on/off rainy days.
I've used the guys at my office building parking a few time and they were OK.. it was hand wash.. This time they screw it up royally.
I believe their mits were dirt embedded. left my car with all type of sanding marks.
I was WTHelll.!!!!.. they deny that they did it.. Stupid kid had the nerve to ask me how old my car was.. They blame it on the previous car wash..
Sucks... Cant really prove they did it. so I will just tell my office building not to use them.
I will have to wipe up my PC polisher and clay to see if I can fix the damage.
prob need 6 hours.
to clay... speed glaze #80 2 to 3 times.... NXT the car.
SOOOO PISSSEDDDD. !!!!!

Sorry to hear about your story.
Can you take pictures BEFORE and AFTER you do the repair? I'd like to see how much you can really fix with teh PC.

your best off reading detailing 101. #80 has alot of fillers in it that will just mask the swirls.

I agree. Try the 3M Finesse-it II for scratch removal if you haven't. That stuff is amazing.

instead of masking them, try to get them out completely. you don't want to have to keep dealing with them every so often.
sucks that the guys did that but, hey, just tell them not to wash yours next time. if they do, you have every right to collect from them. $$$$$ :D
it seems like your packing some pretty good products, so the swirls should be out in no time.
good luck! before and after shots would be great!!

I also have Scratch X and ColorX. Meguiars told me to try that first..if it doesnt work the use #80 on higher speed.
these are the lease abrasive stuff.
I have fine cut cleaner but I dont think the PC will make it work well.

After 6 hours of work. finally got most of the scratches out. Sorry no pics of before. My wife misplaced the camera.
I used PC with Speed Glaze #80 to get most of the scratches off.
#80 had some abrasive properties to it. So I'm not just filling in with fillers.
I vertify by using some glass cleaner after I worked some #80 on the surface.
The surface was still dark.
So Using PC DA polisher I....
Speed Glaze 2 times
NXT 2 times
Thanks Meguiars for having free tutorials. Gave me the cofidence and correct tool/product to do the job. Saved me a couple hundred bucks to pay for my PCDA polisher.
It was hard work. but it is as dark as Darth Vader's Helmet now.
The Speed Glaze #80 is pretty amazing stuff.
