This is my rant on a horrible experience with a local shop.

About two months ago, I needed a set of Koni's and Eibachs installed in my M3. Carrozzeria Design said they were capable of taking on the job for $250 and that the install would only take a couple of hours. I arrived at the shop on a thursday afternoon hoping that they would immediately get started. Waiting patiently, they only began to work on my car towards closing time. When they disassembled the front of the car, they were surprised to find out that the front strut hats were off centered. One hour or so later, having the passenger assembly completely taken off, they were then surprised that they had to cut the stock housing to insert the Koni's. If the shop was unable to take on the job correctly they should have informed me first hand instead of using my car as the guinea pig. The shop told me that they were unable to finish my car that night and that it would be ready to be picked up friday afternoon. Before I left to pick up the car, I called to find out if it was finished. It wasnt. They delayed it for another 3 hours. So be it, I wait around like a dumb@ss asking my friends to go out of their way for rides and keeping my girl waiting. 3 hours later, I call back again only to find out that my car's not even close to being done. Whatever, I head to the shop around 8 to check the progress. The people are finishing up the job only to finish at 11. A month or so later I go in to get an alignment at a local place and tell me that I have -3 camber in the front. WTF? I ask around and do my research on the forums and assume that the problem is the strut hats. I go to check and it is. The front passenger side was swapped with the drivers side and vice versa. Only now am I able to fix the problem because it became clear to me. AAAHHH. I come out a loser and that's the end of the story. I'm just informing other bimmerforums members about my horrible experience with this shop.

thanks for reading in,
J

Sorry about your experience man, next time hit me up and I can try and help you out. As far as I know Carrozzeria Design is more of a distributor and deal with mainly the retail end of things. In the future take it to a more reputable install shop like Bullet, or Evo...

Atleast your dropped now, good times. Post up pics playa.
