Anyone know the difference between a standard and M6 suspension???

Is the geometery(??) also different???

And finally what upgrades are available, mine is lowered but I think I will put back to standard height with bigger wheels (and intend to change the brakes all round)as I find the ride slightly hard.

I have heard that some bushes from a 7 series (modified/machined) can be used giving more strength.

Any thoughts on above???

What is the ultimate set-up???

The ulimate set-up probably depends on what you are going to use the car for -

a dedicated track car would likely have much stiffer suspension that wouldn't be very much fun on public roadways.

Most folks beef up the suspension with Bilsteins (struts) and Eibach or H&R Springs.. (lower/stiffer) Strut braces are an easy upgrade.. (I still have yet to get said brace for mine - but am thinking about it)

The anti-sway bars from Racing dynamics are very nice from what I understand.

As far as the differences between M and standard - I'll have to check my walton book tonight - but I think the M set up was some 15% firmer than the regular 6er of the day.

I'll try to remember to check the Walton book tonight to post the specifics if they are indeed listed.

Cheers JC

I would be using it for road use, looks like a visit to Racing Dynamics website for the anti-roll bars - any other good sites spring to mind??
